In testing with a 13.1V supply and a 5A load, voltage drop measured only about 0.2V with a minimal temperature rise after 30 minutes of use. Waterproof construction helps the cable stand up to rain, dew and road spray when it runs outside the vehicle, so a sudden shower never has to end your connection.
