A smart battery management system adjusts output to the Mini's power spikes, preventing voltage drops, random reboots and lost connections. It recharges in about 3 hours from a 60W or higher USB-C PD charger, and pass through charging lets you power the Mini while recharging from solar, a vehicle socket or the wall. A dedicated 60W DC output runs the dish while a 65W USB-C PD port charges laptops and phones. Clean, steady voltage matters, because brief power dips are one of the most common reasons a dish drops offline or restarts mid call.
An integrated base and movable tripod set up quickly on dirt, grass or gravel, and a 1/4 inch screw mount also holds cameras or lights. It weighs 2.2 lbs, and the alloy body is IP67 rated when the ports are sealed; keep the DC plug protected in heavy rain. DC and USB-C cables and a storage bag are included.
